Are you ready to make a lasting impact and experience God’s calling in a whole new way?

A mission trip to Haiti is an incredible opportunity to be the hands and feet of Jesus, bringing hope and love to some of the world’s most vulnerable people. But stepping into this mission isn’t just about going—it’s about preparing your heart. Prayer and Scripture are your foundation, equipping you to serve as an ambassador of Christ and recognize His presence in the faces of those you’ll meet. Spiritual challenges may arise, but with God’s armor (Ephesians 6:10-20) and the support of a committed prayer partner, you’ll be ready. This journey could change lives—including your own. Will you say yes to this calling? Let’s make it happen, together.

Missions FAQ

The Most Frequently Asked Questions about Haiti180 Trips
Do We Need Evacuation Insurance?2025-01-16T19:22:43+00:00

While we have never had a situation that has required an evacuation, here is a company some have purchased insurance through just in case. We do not know how effective they are because we have never had to use them. Please do your own research and decide for yourself if you want to do this and which company is right for you.

Is There Electricity?2025-01-16T19:21:38+00:00

We have solar power and a generator providing electricity at night for fans and to charge equipment, etc. Regular U.S. power/voltage.

Is There Cell Service or Internet?2025-01-16T19:21:21+00:00

We have limited internet so once a day you can send messages as needed. If there is an emergency we do have a phone (weather effects operation of both phone and satellite internet). We do not allow phones and computers to be connected to the internet all day because it kills our signal bandwidth and shuts down the internet. This is a good time to lose dependency on electronics and enjoy the freedom. Some missionaries choose to contact their cell provider regarding their travel to Haiti as some providers may set you up with a plan to connect to the local servers.

Can I Bring My Own Food such as Snacks and Power Bars?2025-01-16T19:22:43+00:00

Yes you can but just don’t leave it open in the dormitory. You don’t want little friends coming to dinner.

What Will We Eat?2025-01-16T19:22:43+00:00

You will have three meals a day and our cooks are wonderful and are so excited to cook for you! Chicken, rice and beans, fish, veggies, eggs, mangoes etc. are prepared beautifully for you!

Do I Need Vaccinations?2025-01-16T19:22:43+00:00

We do not check to see who is or who is not vaccinated. In the downloadable paperwork, there is a list of things you may want to get vaccinated for. Some missionaries get all of them, and some missionaries do not get any.

How Large Can Our Group Be?2025-01-16T19:19:44+00:00

We take groups with a minimum of 9 missionaries and a maximum of 18 missionaries per group.

What Are The Trip Locations?2025-01-16T19:19:29+00:00

We are located in the villages of Duverger and Danndan approximately 80 miles west of Port au Prince. 18°16.8251′ N 73°2.8012’W

When do Groups Travel to Haiti?2025-01-16T19:19:05+00:00

The groups typically arrive on a Tuesday and depart on the following Sunday all year long. You are welcome to join up with an existing group if there are available spaces or create your own group.

How Much Does It Cost?2025-01-16T19:18:41+00:00

For your safety and comfort, we’re providing a helicopter service to all of our missionaries. Instead of driving through Port au prince we now bypass the city entirely by travelling on a 35-minute flight to our village. The cost is $1050.00 per person to cover food, travel during the week to and from other villages and home visits, and supplies for the mission; $350.00 to cover the round trip cost of the helicopter; and whatever your airfare is from your place of travel.
