Frequently Asked Questions

How many people does it take to fully sponsor a child?2026-05-25T14:32:29+00:00

It takes two people, each giving $46 a month, to fully sponsor a child. If you would like to be the sole sponsor of the child, then an option to pay the full $92 is available!

Does all of my money go directly to the child I sponsor?2026-05-25T15:42:03+00:00

While we completely understand why you’d want your gift to go straight to your sponsored child, all sponsorship funds are pooled together and then carefully distributed to every child and family in the program. We do it this way for two important reasons — first, to ensure we’re fully compliant with legal and financial regulations, and second, to make sure that no child is ever left out or goes without food and essentials. Every dollar you give makes a real difference, not just for one child, but for the entire community we serve.

Can I contact the person I sponsor and if so how?2026-05-25T15:45:39+00:00

Yes! Once you have completed your sponsorship, you will receive a login that will show you updates about our mission, the child you sponsor, and ways to contact them. You may send an email or a letter to the address we provide to you. Due to ongoing gang conflicts in Haiti, we will only be able to bring down letters two times a year. That means two times a year we will bring you letters written by your sponsee.
